Pedro Martin, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

Since founding TREA’s sister company, Terra Group, in 2001, Pedro Martin has led the company in its development and capital raising efforts. Mr. Martin has developed more than 2000 residential and commercial units in the South Florida area totaling approximately two billion dollars in gross sales. An emerging force in the City of Miami’s real estate industry, his visionary leadership is transforming the City’s downtown area into a thriving urban center. Prior to founding the company, Mr. Martin practiced law, representing developers and financial institutions since the 1970s. He is actively involved in civic, charitable and business organizations and was awarded Developer of The Year by the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce as well as South Florida CEO Magazine.
Mr. Martin holds a BA degree in Industrial Engineering and a Law Degree with honors from the University of Florida as well as an MBA from Rollins College.

David Martin, Chief Operating Officer

David Martin oversees all international and domestic investment and development projects for Terra Group and its sister companies, having been in this position since the company’s founding. He is in charge of new business strategy and in this role is responsible for the start-up of several new ventures, including a property management subsidiary. Mr. Martin specializes in the identification and acquisition of land, as well the coordination, construction, financing and structuring of joint ventures and investment groups to raise equity. Recognized as a leader in the real estate industry and a director of the Latin Builders Association, he has developed a broad-based coalition of businesses, government agencies and educational and cultural organizations with the aim of redeveloping downtown Miami.
Mr. Martin holds an MBA and law degree, with concentration in land use planning, from the University of Florida.

Brian Pearl, Director

Since joining Terra Group in 2007, he has been responsible for financial analysis of all new projects throughout the Western Hemisphere. In addition, he is the company’s point person for structuring funding mechanisms through which equity and debt investors gain exposure to various development projects. Mr. Pearl began his career in 1994 as an equity analyst with Salomon Brothers focused on advisory and restructuring work in Mexico and equity offerings in South America. Prior to joining Terra, he had senior buyside and sellside positions in the financial industry including management of a hedge fund and experience as a senior equity analyst for Latin America with JP Morgan based in New York City
He holds an MA in Statistics from Columbia University and a BA in Economics and Spanish from Rice University.
